SESSION A: second semester of "8th grade"
12 hours of service can begin to be completed & recorded this session.
Each Candidate will choose a path to guide personal study from his / her Pathfinders booklet.
The Catechist will check progress during each class period. |

CONFIRMATION INFO. LETTER
Parents of students entering 8th Grade Faith Formation,
Please read this letter fully. In order to bring our Confirmation Program into compliance with the requirements of the Diocese, the following changes have been made:
1—Confirmation Preparation will begin in the second semester of 8th grade. Students will continue to attend their regularly scheduled classes with Mr. Gould. This is “Session A” of a three session program.
2—Students (at that point, “Candidates”) will follow the expectations of our Confirmation program including attendance at every class. Missed classes must be made-up by attending Middle School Youth Group.
3—Session A will attend a retreat on Sunday, February 1st, 2026, from 10:00 – 3:00, including mass and lunch.
4—Service hours may be recorded between January 2026 and October 24th, 2027.
5—Pathfinders will begin in Session A. Your Candidate will receive a booklet in January.
Requirements in Sessions B and C will remain the same as previous years. Examples are available in the files above.
